℞, shown in red, marks retrograde motion (apparent backward motion from Earth, not the body itself reversing). Aspect orbs: conjunction & opposition 8°, square & trine 6°, sextile 4°. Aspect color: red for conjunction, square and opposition; green for sextile and trine. This is a from-scratch calculation for exploration — cross-check against your primary chart software before using it for client work.

Collective year overview
The main collective events for one calendar year — outer-planet aspects and sign ingresses (Jupiter–Pluto), Chiron and North Node sign ingresses, Mercury/Venus/Mars retrograde stations, and eclipses — independent of this chart. Good for a quick "what was/is this year about" read.

Timeline dates are exact-hit dates for major aspects (conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition) between the transiting planet and each natal point, found by scanning daily ephemeris positions and refining by bisection — red for conjunction/square/opposition, green for sextile/trine. Chiron is tracked alongside Jupiter–Pluto for ingresses and natal aspects (including to natal Chiron and the natal South Node). A retrograde station near a natal point can produce two or three exact hits months apart — all are listed. A gold "N× stack" tag (click it) flags a natal point receiving 2 or more separate aspect hits within a 30-day window — a compounding, higher-priority stretch; the popup lists everything in that window. Outlined sign-ingress rows (→ entering, ⟲ retrograde re-entry) show whole-sign house changes for the tracked planets, including the North Node's own ingresses (uses the True Node, so almost always a retrograde re-entry but occasionally a forward entry during one of its brief direct stations) — the South Node changes sign at the same moment, in the opposite sign, so it isn't listed again. The South Node itself is a valid target for every transiting planet's aspects, the same as any natal planet; the North Node is left out of that target list since a hit on it is the same alignment as a hit on the South Node under a different name. Eclipse rows are highlighted yellow and flag any solar or lunar eclipse landing within 5° of a natal planet. "Sort timeline by importance" ranks events by transiting body (outer planets > Saturn > Jupiter > personal planets), then by natal point (Sun/Moon/Ascendant/Midheaven > personal planets > social/outer planets), then hard aspects over soft — turn it off to go back to plain chronological order. "Active now" hits show applying (orb shrinking, building toward exact) or separating (orb widening, past peak). Orbs for "active now": conjunction & opposition 4°, square & trine 3°, sextile 2°.
Rows outlined in yellow are secondary progressions (a day of ephemeris motion per year of life) — context, not real-time transits: sign changes for the progressed Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn; retrograde/direct stations of progressed Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn (rare, slow, and often "in effect" for years — major life-chapter markers); and aspects each of those progressed bodies makes to every natal point. The progressed Moon moves roughly one degree per year (~27-28yr for the whole zodiac) and is the classic year-by-year technique; progressed Jupiter and Saturn move so little that their ingresses, stations or aspects will only show up if the chart happens to sit right at that threshold — hence "if any" rather than a guarantee. Check "Progressions only" to hide the real-time transits above and see just the progressions.
Profection year activates one whole-sign house per year of life (house 1 in the birth year, advancing one house each birthday) and names its sign's traditional ruler as "lord of the year" for that year — a classical Hellenistic timing technique, independent of the transits above. The sky backdrop lists current aspects among the outer planets themselves (Jupiter through Pluto) — background conditions everyone is living through, not tied to this chart. The collective year overview below does the same for a whole calendar year you choose: exact outer-planet aspects, tagged "Tr-Tr" for transit-to-transit since neither planet is a natal placement (with the aspect glyph shown between the two planets) and sign ingresses for Jupiter through Pluto, sign ingresses only for Chiron and the North Node (no aspects — Chiron isn't part of the collective aspect set here, and nodes don't form aspects as a moving body in this tool at all), retrograde/direct stations for Mercury, Venus and Mars — the whole row turns red when a planet goes retrograde and green when it turns direct again (Jupiter/Saturn/outer-planet stations aren't shown here, since those planets retrograde every year as a matter of course) — and eclipses, none of it tied to this or any individual chart.
